Marriott Bonvoy® Mobile App Check-In Sweepstakes Official Rules

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. Void where prohibited by law. Subject to all federal, state and local laws. Sweepstakes begins on May 15, 2024 at 10:00 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on September 15, 2024 at 11:59 PM ET (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Administrator's computer is the official time keeping device for this Sweepstakes.

Eligibility: The Marriott Bonvoy Mobile App Check-In Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is open to Marriott Bonvoy® members who are legal residents of the fifty (50) United States (including the District of Columbia), at least 18 years of age as of date of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of Marriott International, Inc. (“Sponsor”), Don Jagoda Associates, Inc. (“Administrator”), Firefly Entertainment, Inc., and any of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, franchisees, mandataries, representatives, consultants, contractors, legal counsel, advertising, public relations, promotional, fulfillment, and marketing agencies, web site providers, web masters, and members of their immediate families (spouses, parents, siblings and children, regardless of where they live) and those living in the same household (whether or not related) are not eligible to enter or win. Participation constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and to Sponsor's and/or Administrator's decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. Winning the prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. Sponsor reserves the right to verify the eligibility of winners.

Two ways to Enter:
- AUTOMATIC ENTRY VIA MOBILE APP CHECK-IN ON THE MARRIOTT BONVOY APPLICATION: Beginning May 13, 2024 at 10:00 AM ET (48 hours prior to the Sweepstakes Period), eligible Entrants must a) have an existing reservation or make a new reservation using their Marriott Bonvoy® membership number at a hotel room for a Marriott property located in the 50 United States/DC that supports mobile check-in, b) check in using the Marriott Bonvoy application on their web-enabled mobile device (up to 48 hours prior to stay but stay must take place during the Sweepstakes Period) and c) complete their hotel stay only during the Sweepstakes Period and by September 15, 2024 (collectively, “Entry”). Entrant must complete all three steps to receive an Entry. Entrant must download or have the latest version of the Marriott Bonvoy mobile application.
- VIA MAIL: On a plain piece of 3” x 5” paper, entrant must hand print their full name, Marriott Bonvoy® number, street address, city, state, zip, date of birth (mm/dd/yyyy), daytime telephone number and valid email address (collectively “Mailed Entry” or “Entry”). Entrant must mail Entry in a hand-addressed envelope via first-class mail to: Marriott Bonvoy Mobile Check-In Sweepstakes Entries, P.O. Box 7703, Melville, NY 11775-7703, to receive one (1) Entry into the Sweepstakes. Limit one (1) Mailed Entry per mailing envelope. No mechanically reproduced Mailed Entries permitted. Mailed Entries must be postmarked by September 16, 2024 and received by September 23, 2024.
If you are not a Marriott Bonvoy Member, you must sign-up for a Marriott Bonvoy Member account at www.marriott.com in order to enter. There is no cost or fee to become a Marriott Bonvoy Member. No information regarding Entries, other than as otherwise set forth in these Official Rules, will be disclosed. Limit twenty (20) Entries per person/email address/Marriott Bonvoy number, regardless of the method of Entry. Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than the stated number of Entries by using multiple/different Marriott Bonvoy® numbers, email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void such Entries and that entrant may be disqualified. Use of any automated or computer system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification. If entering via mobile device, normal phone/data and usage charges imposed by your phone service may apply. Standard data rates may apply if entering via mobile device.

Incomplete, corrupted, illegible, postage-due, mistranscribed or untimely Entries are void and will be disqualified. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the entrant’s Marriott Bonvoy account will be deemed to be the entrant. The "authorized account holder" is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, Internet service provider, or other organization (which may include an employer) responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder. Entries specifying an invalid, non-working, or inactive email address will be disqualified and ineligible to win.
Selection of Winner: On or about September 26, 2024, one (1) Grand Prize winner will be randomly selected from among all eligible Entries received. Drawing will be conducted by the Administrator, whose decisions are final and binding on all matters related to the drawing. The odds of winning the prize depend on the total number of eligible Entries received.
Winner Notification: Potential winner will be notified via email at the email address indicated on their Marriott Bonvoy account, and will be sent via email/email link, a Declaration of Eligibility, Liability & Publicity Release (where legal) and Assignment of Rights (“Declaration”) and will be required to complete, sign and return Declaration via email within three (3) days of being notified in order to claim their prize. If the potential winner fails to return the required document within the required time period, or the prize notification is returned undeliverable, or in the event that the potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor will award the prize to an alternate winner selected by a random drawing from among all remaining eligible Entries received, time permitting. Potential winner is subject to verification by Administrator, whose decisions are final and BINDING IN ALL MATTERS RELATED TO THE SWEEPSTAKES. An entrant is not a winner of the prize unless and until entrant's eligibility has been verified and entrant has been notified that verification is complete.
Prize and Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): One (1) Grand Prize: A three (3)-day/two (2)-night trip for winner and one (1) travel companion to see Taylor Swift perform at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana, on November 3, 2024 (“Event”). Prize includes round-trip economy air transportation for winner and travel companion from major airport nearest winner’s home (as determined by Sponsor/Administrator in their sole discretion), two (2) nights’ hotel accommodations (one room, double occupancy), admission tickets for winner and travel companion to the Event, and a Marriott Bonvoy welcome gift which includes Sponsor-specified merchandise. The ARV is: $4,709. Prize Restrictions: Travel is subject to availability and restrictions may apply. Seat locations at Event shall be determined at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. If a winner resides within a 250-mile radius of Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana, winner will receive a $250 travel stipend in lieu of air transportation and no additional compensation for travel will be provided. Grand Prize winner and his/her travel companion are solely responsible for all other expenses not specifically set forth herein, including but not limited to meals, surcharges, service charges, personal charges, taxes, travel and other insurance, additional transportation, gratuities, souvenirs, upgraded room accommodations and other incidentals and items of a personal nature. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, mutilated or stolen travel and/or Event documents. Grand Prize winner and his/her travel companion must travel on same itinerary and must agree to depart and return on dates specified by Sponsor surrounding the Event, which are subject to change, or Grand Prize will be forfeited. If the Grand Prize winner is unable to travel on dates specified, prize will be forfeited and an alternate Grand Prize winner may be selected in a random drawing from among all remaining eligible Entries received, time permitting. Prize (or portions of prize) cannot be substituted, assigned, transferred, resold or redeemed for cash; however, Sponsor reserves the right to make equivalent prize substitution at its sole discretion if advertised prize (or portion of prize) becomes unavailable. Any and all applicable federal, state, and local taxes and all fees and expenses related to acceptance and use of prize not specifically stated herein are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. Actual value of the Grand Prize may vary. The Grand Prize winner will be issued a 1099 tax form for the actual retail value of their prize. In the event Grand Prize winner and/or travel companion engages in behavior that (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) is obnoxious or threatening, illegal, or that is intended to threaten or harass any other person, or that in any way disparages or adversely affects the reputation, image, and/or customer goodwill of Sponsor or any of Sponsor’s services, products, trademarks, service marks, or logos, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate the prize, and send winner and/or travel companion home (at winner/travel companion’s own expense) with no further obligations or compensation whatsoever to winner and/or travel companion (which may, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, result in winner’s disqualification from the Sweepstakes and forfeiture of prize. In the event Grand Prize winner or travel companion engages in behavior that (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) is illegal, tortious, or subjects winner or travel companion to arrest or detention, Sponsor shall have no obligation to pay any damages, fees, fines, judgments or other costs or expenses of any kind whatsoever incurred by Prize winner or travel companion as a result of such conduct. SPONSOR SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURIES, DEATH, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR OTHER DAMAGES OR EXPENSES RESULTING FROM OR ARISING OUT OF ANY OTHER ASPECT OF GRAND PRIZE WINNER’S OR TRAVEL COMPANION’S ACCEPTANCE OR USE OF PRIZE. Winner’s travel companion must be at least 18 years of age or older or must be the child/charge of winner. Winner’s travel companion [or winner, on behalf of minor travel companion] will be required to execute a release of liability prior to travel. Winner and travel companion must also pass any required medical testing and comply with any requirements, at any time, that may be required or recommended by any government agency, hotel, venue or Sponsor, including without limitation, passing one or more COVID-19 antigen and screening tests, and testing negative for COVID-19 or having the COVID vaccine(s) in order to use prize.
General Conditions: Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Sweepstakes, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Sponsor's reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion and in the event of cancellation, prize will be awarded in a random drawing from among all eligible Entries received prior to cancellation. Sponsor, Administrator, and their agencies are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, postage-due, damaged, stolen or misdirected Entries; lost, interrupted, or unavailable network, server, or other connections, garbled transmissions or miscommunications, telephone transmission problems; computer or software malfunctions or damage to a user's computer equipment (software or hardware); technical failures; or other errors or malfunctions of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, or otherwise. Proof of sending or submission of Entry will not be deemed proof of receipt by Sponsor or Administrator. Sponsor's or Administrator's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS SWEEPSTAKES OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAW, AND, SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO PROSECUTE AND SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be attempting to tamper with or undermine the entry process, and/or the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes; to violate the Official Rules; or to act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, void any suspect Entries and (a) modify the Sweepstakes or suspend the Sweepstakes to address the impairment and then resume the Sweepstakes in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules; or (b) award the prize at random from among all eligible Entries received prior to cancellation up to the time of the impairment.
Release and Limitations of Liability: By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants agree that Sponsor, Administrator, Taylor Swift, Firefly Entertainment, Inc., and each of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, franchisees, representatives, consultants, contractors, legal counsel, advertising, public relations, promotional, fulfillment and marketing agencies, website providers, web masters, and their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (the “Released Parties”) are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of Entries; or (5) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant's participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use or misuse of prize.
